My name? 

For our purposes here, you can call me CortexiphanKate.

Why that name?
Truth: I can't be running about with something like JediElfShardbearerCortexiphanSubjectKateGrangerOfTheTauri. You see my dilemma. Had to make something concise.

As you have probably (hopefully) guessed by this point, I am a devoted geek and proud of it. I love Sci-Fi and Fantasy, both on the screen and the page and that's where this blog comes in to play. You see, this was originally just a geek-related-things blog but I never posted much because there's just too much to talk about. It seemed overwhelming and I simply don't have that kind of time. So, I've narrowed the scope.

I have other interests--music, philosophy, faith, etc. However, as I said above, this is not meant to be a particularly serious blog. So, I'll just say here that I'm a dedicated and grateful follower of Jesus Christ and am daily learning to love what & how He loves.
