The following applies to MOVIES & BOOKS.
- SQUEEE! -> Anything with this rating, I absolutely love (for whatever reason) and must own.
- HUZZAH! -> A definite win. Though, I don't necessarily have to own it until I have the SQUEEE! rated things on my shelf.
- NICE. -> Enjoyable. Glad I experienced it but probably don't feel much of a desire to own it. Though, I'd keep it if someone gave it to me.
- MEH. -> Not terrible but not very good either. Not really worth my time in hindsight. Oh, well.
- REALLY? -> No. Awful. I'd like back the time it has stolen now.
This is my CONTENT RATING system for BOOKS (which mysteriously lack them for some reason).
[V] VIOLENCE:
- 1 -> Mild or no violence. Appropriate for all ages.
- 2 -> Some violence. Appropriate for anyone in the double digits.
- 3 -> A significant amount of violence. Likely a bit more graphic. Use discretion.
- 4 -> Major violence. Graphic and/or persistent. No kids or weak stomachs.
[S] SEXUAL CONTENT:
- 1 -> Kissing is the most serious thing you'll see here.
- 2 -> Implied events or innuendo. Nothing graphic.
- 3 -> Implied events and/or brief nudity. The latter does not accompany events.
- 4 -> Too much. Events described in detail and/or extensive nudity/innuendo.
[L] LANGUAGE:
- 1 -> No profanity. Appropriate for all ages.
- 2 -> Mild profanity.
- 3 -> More profanity than necessary but still within acceptable limits.
- 4 -> Way overboard on the profanity.
